Donations
Alberta Theatre Projects is a not-for-profit registered charity. Each year, we receive hundreds of requests for ticket donations to our award winning seasons of contemporary plays. Over the course of each season, we donate a number of tickets in support of our community. Due to the sheer volume of requests received, Alberta Theatre Projects has developed the following guidelines.
Recipients of tickets must satisfy one of the following criteria:
A sponsor, donor, subscriber or participant in the LEGACY programs of Alberta Theatre Projects.
The event is an arts related or arts education event.
Consideration will also be given to events that:
Recognize Alberta Theatre Projects through signage and/or program mention.
Allow cross promotion opportunities and reciprocal donations.
To apply for a ticket donation please submit a letter of request, with a description of the event, no later than one month prior to the event. Each organization is eligible for ONE donation per season.
Please be advised that ticket donations are at the discretion of Alberta Theatre Projects, and there may be some restrictions on performance dates/times and must be accepted as given. Ticket donations, once given, cannot be exchanged or altered.

Although we do not offer refunds, we do have a convenient ticket exchange policy for all ATP productions. Each exchange is $3.75 per occurrence and all exchanges must be made at least 48 hours in advance of the performance date.
Exchange fees do not apply to subscription tickets
PLEASE NOTE EXCEPTION: ***With the approach of fall and the flu season, ALBERTA THEATRE PROJECTS urges all patrons who aren't feeling well to stay home. In an effort to prevent the spread of flu, we will gladly exchange your tickets for a different performance of the same show at no additional cost. This is a precaution supported by the World Health Organization meant to protect the health of our staff, other patrons and yourself.
Please note the following ways in which to exchange your tickets:
- By scanning a copy of your voided tickets and sending them to the Ticket Office Assistant Bernadette Saraceni (tickets@ATPlive.com), along with your name, your daytime phone number, the performance you would like to exchange into, and any special requests.
- At the Ticket Office during regular business hours (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm)
- By faxing a copy of your voided tickets to the Ticket Office (403 294-7493), along with your name, your best daytime phone number, the performance you would like to exchange into, and any special requests.
