why hasn't this been done before? It is just great. It's something to see for sure. I was amazed at the snow... and the actors? How do they do it? The instruments that are on fire are fun... This is kind of like Cirque du Soleil on ice... people should get the word out on this show and see it before it's gone.

This message came to me from audience member Jim Robertson:
The one word for Nix: Evocative.
Nix is a great play with wonderful dialogue, and a very unique and clever outdoor setting.
The one change I would make would be to add about 6 songs (2 per character - with the tuba / trumpet accompaniment). The metaphorical richness of the dialogue would be further enhanced with songs and lyrics that would speak to the metaphors that the dialogue continually allude to.
The additional 20 minutes that would be added to the production could be handled by the audience: we didn't feel cold in any way at the end. This addition would be even better both production-wise and weather-wise if this play is indeed destined for the Vancouver Olympics.
Anyway, fantastic effort!!

Nix
Excellent.
Set absolutely fantastic. Rivetting. Magical. Beautiful. Technically, a marvel: How did they do it?!
There should be one snow play every winter in Canada!
Costumes perfect. That lovely, lovely gray, like dawn - or dusk - in the snow.
The play itself, I'm not sure. But I could've been too cold to pay attention to the dialogue. Though when the stars burst out, pure genius!
Maybe a snow play has to be really, really s -- i -- m -- p - l - e ------ or you lose the audience --- .
Thanks, Pat
